We like to keep an open mind to marketing here at Underexposed as when its done properly it can have a huge positive effect to your company and help create awareness. We just received this hoax / direct mail piece that has tried to trick us into visiting his website.
By posing as a friend with the first initial of J, they have tried to give us some friendly advice by taking what looks like a Newspaper article and posting it with a note saying "I saw this and thought of you. This guy is brilliant. have a look at his website. J" Surprise! Surprise! Its just a way of trying to get us to purchase his CD of 'Essential Profit Strategies" worth £295.
Is this a clever way to get us to look at his site, or perhaps an intrusion that leaves a sense mistrust towards the product?
